Close up shots of a TREK in warm evening light

I took the chance to explore the HiTec parts of a brand new Trek 7,5 FX WSD. Late evening sunlight and a silver reflector gave the warm tone on the very special red color of the bike. Almost like raspberries.

Cooking outdoors, stuffed peppers

Once a week Sanna (from Veckans Middag.com) is providing a nice recipe and a cooking tutorial for the online grossery store Hemmalivs. My pleasant task is to shoot it and to taste it now and then.

This time we decided to shoot outdoors since the light seemed to be nice. A small Speedlight as fill, and a silver reflector whas all it took to even out  the soft evening light.

The peppers were among other delicious things stuffed with cottage cheese, bacon, Feta cheese, fresh cheese and garlic!

Studentbuffé i Aftonbladet

Coffee

Our investment in the Studio is quite priceless. The little Nespresso machine. Looks humble and is hardly noticeable on the kitchen sink. But two capsules Ristretto and hot creamy milk really gets you going!

From sketch to bottle

A while ago I was asked by the food producer ÖNOS (a brand under Procordia Food) to make one of their labels. They are a producer of delicate syrups and jam. There were allready several products in the product line so the illustration had to resemble the others. The new taste of rhubarb syrup was produced in the middle of the cold winter and there were no rhubarbs in sight in the store. I had to by some stockphotos to be able to remember how a rhubarb actually is constructed.

After some different mockups and sketches I found a nice disposition suitable for text and design of the label. I put one of the rhubarb  stems so it followed the “V-form” in the bottom of the label.
It´s nice to see a lot of them in the supermarket and of course I had to buy one of them .-)

The illustration was sketched and scanned into photoshop to be colorized.

And finally the label in use:

Sharea, Gothenburg 2010

SHAREA! This is a really cool creative event! May 21, 2010.

Sharea = share + area

People meet and share their knowledge. At the same time they promote their work. It seems to be happening for the first time ever. It reminds me a bit of Chase Jarvis cool way of thinking concerning sharing of knowledge in his Creative Live.

“Sharea is an event where people are  sharing their knowledge, creativity and inspiration. Ticket to the event is the content that you contribute. So its for free.”

The site is in Swedish, so if you need, use Google translate. Its well worth it!
