Coffee shop shots

Made a job for Smartbox on the coffee shop Njutbar in Malmoe the other week. The baristas are extremely skilled and totally devoted to coffee. They use a couple of coffee brands and among them a Swedish brand called LOVE Coffee. Had a great time shooting and drinking too many cups of their fantastic java. Climbed the walls the rest of the day…

We were shooting promotion shots for their ”coffee school” at which people can attend to learn the secrets of making their own coffee as good and tasty as possible.

Quick breakfast in Copenhagen

This morning Sanna and  I decided to bring the morning paper and go for a nice quick breakfast in CPH.

We spotted a nice café in Vesterbro, our absolute favorite part of the city for the moment, and got a lovely breakfast at Musik Conditoriet.
In the neighborhood is the tiny theatre “Den Sorte Hest” (the Black Horse) hided by the trees.

This is a nice way to start a friday, and I absolutely love to drive over the bridge and in the tunnel!

Kids activity puzzle pages

In the last summer weeks it was time to produce some new activity pages for Hemmets Journal. As usual the work on this batch has been going on for a couple of weeks. They are fun to do and they keeps me a little in touch with my former work as a comic illustrator. As I have said earlier I draw some of the pictures, but to be able to keep the whole production slim I often by illustrations from the collegues on iStockphoto. I then make and construct the puzzles.

I really hope the kids will like it!

In focus

Ever wondered how it would feel to be in focus by paparazzi cameras the whole day?

I read on The Insider that you can rent a paparazzi for a day, to be treated like a star. Obviously many people around believe you are a star for real and you will get V.I.P. treatments in bars and clubs. Silly!

In this shot Mimmi is the model for a stock shoot, and I was the one pulling the trigger :-)

Apples are ripe and ready to harvest

ddd

Last weekend we did a trip to Österlen to look after our cabin and to visit my parents in law.

The apples in Kivik are beginning to be ready to harvest and we took the opportunity to take some photos for stock.

Shooting a pizza…

If anyone thought shooting a product shot of a pizza is a piece of cake, this behind the scenes movie showes how wrong that is.

This is a fantastic mess of people  working on the little pizza, trying to make it look as good as possible.
There is also a hand model talking about the art of holding a pizza slice the right way. This is a nice bts movie that itself alone would be a nice ad for the pizza company (Dominos Pizza). It shows the hard work making a pizzaslice looking good enough for for us to eat.
