What´s going on in the studio?
Att fota glaskonst ingick i det hedervärda uppdraget för MSFonden. De har ett samarbete med glaskonstnären Bertil Vallien från Kosta Boda där en del av pengarna går till MSFonden.
Det är en liten, fin skulptur. En variant av “Thoughts” som föreställer ett huvud där en liten, färgad logga representerar både EMSF, (European MS Foundation) och samtidigt för tankarna till sjukdomens lokalisering.
I fredags blev det mera matbilder.
Foton till utmärkta matbloggen Veckansmiddag. Spenatpaj med fetaost och grönkålspaj med chevre… eller var det tvärtom grönkål och fetaost och spenat och chevre? Det har jag just glömt. Goda var dom! Fantastiskt goda! Jag slök dom efter fotograferingen. Dom var fortfarande ljumma.
Spenatpajen är fotad med vanligt fast ljus men grönkålspajen skulle ha en liten julstämning så där fick vi trixa lite med både ljus och rekvisita. Lite julstämning i höstsommarvärmen gick att få trots allt.

Sankt Gertruds Konferens kan fixa möten och konferenser för några få personer och upp till en hel armé, tror jag. I kvarteret där både dom och jag sitter finns lokaler som passar till nästan alla behov.
Det behövdes nya porträttbilder på personalen och jag hade turen att få uppdraget. Vi beslöt oss att ta bilderna med en liten gnutta miljö bakom. Inte bara med enfärgad vit eller grå bakrund. Önskemålet var ljusa och positiva bilder som ändå skulle se hyfsat seriösa ut. Vi riggade upp kamera och utrustning i foajén til Carolinahallen. Mycket fönster och vita väggar.
Väldigt kul att fota glada människor! Martina, Linda H, Sara, Sofie, Linda R, Claes och Robban var i fin form och fastnade på bild allihop! Tack för en kul dag!

…och honung som är lite mindre nyslungad. Den blir visst trög och vit när den fått stå en tid. Och alldeles ogenomskinlig.
Men den nyslungade släpper igenom kvällsljuset rakt genom burken. Läcker färg.
The other day I had the oportunity to shoot sweet Cecilie, who wanted to update her stock of portraits for use at presentations, lectures, seminars and press. Smart! I truly believe in the power of some good, updated, personal pictures to use in this ocasions. There are serious bloggers/facebookers/lecturers updating their portrait picture stock twice a year. At least. This way not only the contents of their work is constantly updating but also the graphics. Nice and convincing.

It´s easy to get inspired by David Hobbys STB (Shoot The Bloggers) project wich he just started, but have several interesting thoughts about. In short, the idea is to shoot freelance corporate portrais while you get the opportunity to pull the camera trigger and experiment with ideas of portraits on different personalities. It´s a win-win!
We had fun and altered between full stdiolightning, available light in the studio and mixed speedlight/daylight. All this to get a broad range of pictures useful to Cecilie in several occasions.
Luckily the studio has three large windows at northwest and if the weather is good they provide a nice, soft natural light to use. In worst case there is one or two huge trucks parking outside the windows, delivering beer, wine and food for the restaurants in the block. The only chance to get decent light then is to trigger the Elinchrome studiogear…
I took the chance to explore the HiTec parts of a brand new Trek 7,5 FX WSD. Late evening sunlight and a silver reflector gave the warm tone on the very special red color of the bike. Almost like raspberries.
Once a week Sanna (from Veckans Middag.com) is providing a nice recipe and a cooking tutorial for the online grossery store Hemmalivs. My pleasant task is to shoot it and to taste it now and then.
This time we decided to shoot outdoors since the light seemed to be nice. A small Speedlight as fill, and a silver reflector whas all it took to even out the soft evening light.
The peppers were among other delicious things stuffed with cottage cheese, bacon, Feta cheese, fresh cheese and garlic!
